How to Qualify for the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise

To join us on the Ladbrokes Poker Cruise IV you need to obtain a Cruise Place, which can be won in the Cruise Weekly Final that is held each Monday evening at 20:15 GMT.

You can either buy directly into this freeze-out tournament or qualify via the Cruise Daily Finals, for which there is a daily program of satellites available in the Tournaments/ Offline Events/ Poker Cruise IV lobby.

The Ship and Cabins

The luxury ‘Oasis of the Seas’ is the first of her class and is the world’s largest passenger vessel. She is part of the fleet operated by the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. At 225,000 tonnes, she is over three times the size of the QEII.

All Cruise Place winners will be accommodated in an ocean view cabin with a balcony. A limited number of suites will be available on a first come first served basis for players who wish to upgrade.

Oasis of the Seas Amenities

The ship features a zip-line, a casino, a mini-golf course, four swimming pools, volleyball and basketball courts, theme parks and nurseries for children.

Travel Allowance

All Cruise Place winners will have their £950 travel allowance credited to their Ladbrokes Poker account. The qualifier will be responsible for arranging return flights to and from and hotel accommodation (for themselves and guest) in New Ft Lauderdale for the night of 21 January 2011.

Ladbrokes Poker’s Event Management Team will endeavour to provide all qualifiers with information on flight options, and hotel availability within differing price bands, as information becomes available. It is the Cruise Place winner’s responsibility to book and ensure that flights and accommodation is suitable for their individual needs.

At any Level (satellite or online final), any player can buy in for cash + fee or loyalty points.
Microgaming’s package will include the $2,500 buy‐in to 2010 Club 56 from July 2nd to July 4th 2010 in Las Vegas, 10 nights at the Wynn from 29th June 2010, €600 spending money (converted to $USD), and €1,000 travel expenses. €1,000 will go towards the ‘last longest bet’.
The Microgaming Poker Network (MPN) qualifier(s) who lasts longest in the WSOP56 live event from July 2nd to July 4th will win a €10,000 WSOP Main Event Package(s). One ‘Last Longest Bet’ package will be awarded for every 10 WSOP56 players and this will incorporate the $10,000 ME buy-in, and $3500 towards extended hotel accommodation/ spending money. This bonus will be awarded based on the final tournament result. Microgaming’s decision on the longest lasting qualifier(s) is final.
Winners of the ‘Last Longest Bet’ may elect not to participate in the WSOP Main Event, in which case the €10,000 prize will be awarded to their MPN Poker account as soon as is practical after the event.
WSOP56 package winners are only permitted to play to win a second package if they wish to substitute it for a WSOP Main Event seat. Any further package wins, however, will be forfeited.
Ladbrokes Poker will arrange registration for WSOP56 event. It is the individual winner’s responsibility to arrange travel to Las Vegas for the event and to ensure that all travel documents (passport and visa, as required) are in order and to obtain any required travel and medical insurance. Lack of proper travel documents may be grounds for disqualification. Players will be credited with €1,000 travel expenses of the €6,000 package to that end.
Players must give details of their table/seat numbers for WSOP56 to the MPN representatives in Las Vegas and agree to wear a WSOP56 badge so players can be identified during the live event. MPN will make the final decision on who receives the last longest bonus(s).
Players will receive their spending money in dollars on Wednesday 30 June 2010 at a ‘welcome drink’ at the Wynn organised by MPN. Time/venue will be supplied to players nearer the time of the event.
Players will receive 10 nights at the Wynn from 29th June 2010. This is on a room only basis for the player plus one guest. No breakfast is included. Players will be responsible for all additional charges to their room – internet, mini-bar, etc. Players will be expected to present a credit card on arrival at the Wynn to cover any extras.
Players who have already arranged their accommodation in Las Vegas for the WSOP, will have the option to transfer their room at the Wynn to a guest/friend. No cash compensation will be given if players’ do not require hotel accommodation. The name of the guest/friend MUST be supplied to MPN by Friday 18th June 2010.
No cash awards will be made from Satellite game seat wins to the next level. All prizes are entries to the next level of the competition with the exception of the final, the prize for which is a Package to each of the winners. The only possible way for a player to be paid a cash award is if there are insufficient entries in a satellite or at the final to cover the cost of additional seats to the next level. In this instance, the nature and value of any award will be determined by Microgaming whose decision shall be final.
Microgaming reserves the right to buy‐back entire Packages from players who have won a final Package for the WSOP56. The price payable by Microgaming to buy‐back a Package will be €6,000.
By entering the WSOP56 Online Final or Satellites players agree that their real names, aliases and images can be used for promotional purposes. Photographs will be taken by MPN of the winner(s) of the last longest bonus.
By entering the WSOP56 Online Final or Satellites, players agree that, should they win a Package, they will wear Microgaming Operator apparel (hats and/or T‐Shirts) if provided to them and will wear the apparel in accordance with the instructions of Microgaming management.
Awarding of any and all prizes is at the sole discretion of Microgaming management and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
Subject to the provisions of rules 5 & 12 above, the winner of a seat at the WSOP56 Online Satellites and/or Final tournament cannot sell, trade, assign or in any way transfer such seat to another person, and Microgaming will not award cash in lieu of a seat at the WSOP56 Online Tournament or land based Final.
As in all tournaments, players may not sit out. Players who are not present shall be “blinded off” and their hands folded until they have no more chips and are eliminated.
All satellite games shall be Single or Multi‐Table, no‐limit Hold’em tables, following standard Microgaming rules.
The prizes will be displayed in the tournament lobby as registration closes for each tournament.
Decisions as to players’ eligibility to enter the WSOP56 Online Final and/or Satellites and to remain in and compete in same are at the sole discretion of Microgaming management and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
Microgaming management reserves the right to deny entry to WSOP56 Online Final and Satellites and/or remove a player or disqualify a player from same and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
Microgaming management reserves the right to change the rules and/or structure of the WSOP56 Online Final and/or Satellite Tournaments at its sole discretion. Any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
Players must be of legal age to participate in any of the tournaments. Players must be 21 years old to take part in WSOP56.

Brian Nolan Takes Down - IPT # 1

The Clonmel festival of Poker came to end on the Tuesday with the first Ladbrokes Irish Poker Tour event of the year with a lead up to both the Irish series of Poker and the Ladbrokes Poker Festival Killarney every win will count in the lead up to tickets for teh event .

We started with 76 runners at the start of play and by the last buy in we were up to 87 runners on a tuesday night for the event with a juicy prizepool of €8,700 and a frist prize of €2,500 with a ticket to the Irish series of poker in July also included . Brian Nolan who is a serious Holdem player battled his way through 87 players to take this event down with a tightly fought heads up battle with Waterfords Chris Frisby . It was a toss of a coin at the end of the play and Brian stood up and took down the first title and hits the front on the Ladbrokes Leaderboard . Roll on Dungarvan next month for more action and points

2010 Irish Open, Dublin - Terms and Conditions

At any Level (satellite or online final), any player can buy in for cash + fee.
Any individual player can only win one seat at the Irish Open, Dublin
Microgaming’s package will include: hotel accommodation and entrance into the IRISH OPEN, Dublin on 2nd-5th April 2010. €1,000 towards travel expenses and spending money, which will be credited to each package winner’s poker account.
No cash awards will be made from Satellite game seat wins to the next level. All prizes are entries to the next level of the competition with the exception of the final, the prize for which is a Package to each of the winners. The only possible way for a player to be paid a cash award is if there are insufficient entries in a satellite or at the final to cover the cost of additional seats to the next level. In this instance, the nature and value of any award will be determined by Microgaming whose decision shall be final.
Microgaming reserves the right to buy-back entire Packages from players who have won a final Package for the IRISH OPEN, Dublin Tournament. The price payable by Microgaming to buy-back a Package will be €5,000.
t is the individual winner’s responsibility to arrange their own travel to Dublin for the event and to ensure that all travel documents (passport and visa, as required) are in order and to obtain any required travel and medical insurance. Lack of proper travel documents may be grounds for disqualification. Microgaming will book all accommodation and entry into the Irish Open.
By entering the IRISH OPEN, Dublin Online Final or Satellites players agree that their real names, aliases and images can be used for promotional purposes.
By entering the IRISH OPEN, Dublin Online Final or Satellites, players agree that, should they win a Package, they will wear Microgaming Operator apparel (hats and/or T-Shirts) if it is provided to them and they will wear the apparel in accordance with the instructions of Microgaming management.
Awarding of any and all prizes is at the sole discretion of Microgaming management and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
Subject to the provisions of rule 6 above, the winner of a seat at the IRISH OPEN, Dublin Online Satellites and/or Final tournament cannot sell, trade, assign or in any way transfer such seat to another person, and Microgaming will not award cash in lieu of a seat at the IRISH OPEN, Dublin Online Tournament or land based Final.
As in all tournaments, players may not sit out. Players who are not present shall be “blinded off” and their hands folded until they have no more chips and are eliminated.
All satellite games shall be Single or Multi-Table, no-limit Hold’em tables, following standard Microgaming rules.
The prizes will be displayed in the tournament lobby as registration closes for each tournament.
Decisions as to players’ eligibility to enter the IRISH OPEN, Dublin Online Final and/or Satellites and to remain in and compete in same are at the sole discretion of Microgaming management and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
Microgaming management reserves the right to deny entry to IRISH OPEN Dublin Online Final and Satellites and/or remove a player or disqualify a player from same and any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
Microgaming management reserves the right to change the rules and/or structure of the IRISH OPEN, Dublin Online Final and/or Satellite Tournaments at its sole discretion. Any decisions taken by management in this regard are final.
Players must be of legal age to participate in any of the tournaments.
Microgaming shall in no way be liable for any injuries, losses, damages or expenses suffered or incurred by any winner of a Package as a direct or indirect result of accepting the Package and participating in the Irish Open, Dublin.
LEGALITY, INFORMATION DISCLOSURE AND TAXATION OF WINNINGS: Microgaming jealously guards its participants’ privacy. However, there may be circumstances in which disclosure of information to regulatory or fiscal authorities is necessary or desirable, and Microgaming reserves the right to release information in such circumstances. Please note that Microgaming cannot advise on the tax position of winners, as some jurisdictions treat poker wins as tax free, while in other jurisdictions such proceeds are taxable. If the winnings are taxable in your jurisdiction, you are solely responsible to keep track of and report your winnings to the appropriate authorities. Hi Players,

Here is our planned schedule for 2010 for your perusal. We still have more to add and will announce these in the coming weeks. Next year we expect to payout over €1,000,000 in prize pools. Please note that all structures and Guarantees are subject to change in the coming weeks when we confirm all Event details and dates. We will announce official threads for the structure of each event closer to the dates. We are announcing dates now to keep our poker playing public well informed, so you can plan for 2010.

Next year we are delighted to announce 4 Provincial Tournaments. Here we will have the four provinces battling it out to define the individual poker champion of each province. This is something that we have been planning for some time now and we are delighted to have involved some of the best poker Operators with us.

We have two new Events next year the Irish Series Of Poker 2010 which replaces our Waterford Open Festival which we held each summer. This hits Waterford in July with a Main Event buy in of €1,000. We expect this to be a 250 capacity sell out with the Sponsor to be announced shortly. We have already negotiated 100 online seats and we would expect to fill this event with offline sats and direct buy ins creating a prize pool of €250,000. The Sponsor and full details will be announced at the launch in January. We are also delighted to introduce the Poker Club/Pub Championship for 2010, with an expected prize pool of €100,000 and 500 players in the grand final.

Also the very successful Ladbrokes Irish Poker Tour will run for the 2nd time in 2010 and will travel the country covering the majority of cities and towns, details of this tour will be announced in the coming weeks.
